The Shipley School is a Division C team that competes in Pennsylvania's Southeast Regional. They first qualified for the state tournament in 2018, where they placed 18th in the field of 36 teams. In addition, they won their first ever state medals, taking 3rd in Fermi Questions and 6th in Rocks and Minerals. They qualified for the state tournament again in 2019, improving on their regionals score by 81 points.
