Ames High School is a Division C school which qualified for the 2019 National competition at the Iowa 2019 state competition. They represented Iowa every year from 1994 to 2016, and also 2018-2019. 1994 was the first year Iowa sent a team to the national finals. This marks a 23-year reign, which is one of the longest high school reigns in the nation.
