Background

Hudson High School is a high-ranked high school In Hudson, Ohio, a suburb near Akron, Ohio. The team consistently places as one of the top teams at the regional tournament.

History

The Hudson High School Science Olympiad team was created in 2010. Hudson has qualified for the state tournament every year since its inception. The team has consistently placed well at the Akron regional tournament, including beating out Revere High School for the first place trophy in 2014, and Nordonia High School for the first place trophy in 2018. In 2016 and 2018, the team reached its best ranking of 8th at the state tournament, beating out Revere and Nordonia, both competitors in the Akron Regional Tournament.
