I attend Ladue Horton Watkins High School currently and will graduate in 2028. I competed for Ladue Middle School in Division B. This year, I will now be trying out for Ladue Horton Watkins High School, the Division C feeder from Ladue Middle School.
Middle School Science Olympiad
I started off Science Olympiad in 6th grade. I remember doing terrible and placing maybe dead last in all of my events. I had no regrets there. Just putting my toe in the water was an amazing experience already.
I have no recollections of 6th and 7th grade, so I won't lie.
6th grade: I was in no place whatsoever to make the team, but I loved the exposure.
7th grade: This was the year that most people made team, 7th, 8th, and 9th, three years of competing on the middle school team. I was not locked in and still didn't fully recognized the competitive spirit of Ladue.
8th Grade: After trying very hard, I got 1st in Microbe and Optics. 2nd in Roller Coaster and Anatomy. I got on the team.
9th Grade: I locked out for Anatomy and got 3rd. I got 1st? in Microbe and Optics. I got 3rd in potions but some school drama occurred and now I have the event. I got on the team
