This was my first year as a member of the newly formed Science Olympiad team. While I didn't achieve much success this year, it was a pivotal period in my growth as both a teammate and a competitor. The first invitational we attended was WashU, where we performed well for a team competing together for the first time. This year gave me the chance to learn as much as I could about Science Olympiad before taking a more serious approach in future seasons. My primary goal was to have fun, learn, support my teammates, and continue improving. During this competitive season, I participated in Anatomy & Physiology, Forensics Science, and Experimental Design. Although I didn’t place particularly high in these events for my first try, I was proud of my efforts and happy to avoid finishing last in every event.
