Located in Maryland, and headquartered in Montgomery County, the Pilgrimage Homeschool Division B team was started in 2011 by Mr. West Coile, the team's first coach, and expanded to a second Division C team in 2013.
The current coach is Mrs. Cheryl L. Booth, who has taken over, this season, from Mrs. Maria Kinsinger, who coached from 2018 - 2021. Pilgrimage has always been a homeschool team that has no other varsity teams.

Team History
2010-2011
Under Coach Coile, Pilgrimage competed in the A division in 2011 and placed first in that division. They also placed third overall in Maryland.

2011-2012
Under Coach Coile, Pilgrimage competed in the AA division in 2012 and placed first in the Maryland state. They beat North Bethesda Middle School by one point.
They also made it to Nationals, landing 38th place, and earning one silver medal in Awesome Aquifers.

Pilgrimage competed in the AA division and placed 1st at both the Regionals and States tournaments.

At the 2014 National Tournament, Pilgrimage Homeschool placed 19th as a team. Pilgrimage medaled in three events at Nationals: Sounds of Music, Crime Busters, and Shock Value.

2021-2022
Under Coach Booth, Pilgrimage competed in the AA division. They placed 4th in the Maryland Regional tournament even after it was taken from in-person to online under short notice. They placed 3rd in the Maryland State tournament at Johns Hopkins University, the first in-person tournament since the start of the COVID pandemic. This was their best performance in 5 years.
