whythelongface is a former competitor at West Windsor-Plainsboro High School South. 2018 was his second and last year competing on the team. He enjoys Science Olympiad memes immensely, especially if they involve Remote Sensing. He has competed in the following events: Experimental Design, Fermi Questions, Herpetology, Microbe Mission, Remote Sensing, and Rocks and Minerals.

whythelongface has competed in the New Jersey Envirothon and the NOSB New Jersey regional, Shore Bowl. He is still competing in various competitions even as an old man, such as the St. Louis University's Public Health Scholar Bowl, as a member of the Emory University team.
