Their team has been active in Science Olympiad for several years, with the exception of the 2021 season where they were defunct. Since the 2013 season, they have consecutively qualified for the State Tournament. Prior to then, they had not qualified since the mid-2000s. During the 2019 season, they placed 17th at the Indiana State Tournament. Over the years, their team has proven to be rather successful, with many of their members placing at the State meet.
