Daniel Wright Junior High School is a Division B school in Lincolnshire, IL.

The team from Daniel Wright Junior High School has won the Illinois state competition every year since 2011. They participate in the CLC regionals.

Their best finish (so far) at Nationals was the 2016 tournament at UW-Stout, 1st place, with 182 points.

At the most recent national tournament (2016) they placed 1st.

Daniel Wright feeds into Adlai E. Stevenson High School, which won state for the first time in 2013.

The team consists of mainly 6th through 8th graders (occasionally some 5th graders), however they never utilize 9th graders who instead participate in the team at Adlai E. Stevenson High School

Tryouts for the team begin around the middle of October, allowing up to around 32 team members in total. The varsity and junior varsity teams are altered throughout the year depending on students' performances.

You can distinguish and find them at a competition by searching for the students with dark-green jerseys with Trojan logos on them and white stripes down the sides.
