'''Marie Murphy Middle School''' is a Science Olympiad [[Division B]] team in [[Illinois]]. They compete in the [[Oakton Community College Regional|Oakton Regional]] and the University of Illinois (UIUC) State Competition in Illinois. They have gone to Nationals 12 times out of the past 15 years from their State Competition, with 2019 being their 12th time. Their greatest achievement is an astounding 2nd place at Nationals in 2011 and 2012. Since 2010, they have missed nationals only twice, and [[Science and Arts Academy]] received the second nationals bid both times. In 2018, this was due to a competition violation in [[Roller Coaster]] when a team member used a phone to time a practice run.
