Haverford Middle School was a Division B team that competed in Pennsylvania's Southeast Regional. They fed into Haverford High School. At this time, Haverford Middle School's team is not sponsored by any faculty members and has not competed since the 2018-2019 Science Olympiad season.

History

Haverford Middle School's program did not achieve the same level of success as their high school team, but they experienced much success at the regional and state levels, especially in the 1990s. They achieved a peak placement of 3rd at the 1994 state tournament, and earned 4th place at the 1997 state tournament. Although many of the regional placements during this period are unknown, it is likely that Haverford achieved at least 2nd place at at least one regional tournament, if not 1st.

Their fortunes took a slight downturn during the 2000s, as they began to qualify for the state tournament less regularly. After 2000, they only qualified for the state tournament 6 or 7 times. Their best performance during this time was 14th place at the 2011 Pennsylvania State Tournament.
