Troy Howard Middle School is the only middle school in Belfast, Maine.
They have become a leading school in Maine Division B, with a number of first places at the M²S³O (Maine Middle School State Science Olympiad) at UMaine, and a second place finish in the most recent tournament.
Troy Howard Middle School is the primary feeder school to Belfast Area High School, a leading team in Maine Division C.
