Hi everyone!

I'm one of the people helping run Science Olympiad at the University of Pennsylvania, and I'm super excited to announce that this February, we plan to hold the inaugural Division C Science Olympiad Invitational Tournament at Penn! We've been planning this for a long time and are super excited to be able to share this with you all. Welcome to the first ever Science Olympiad Invitational Tournament held by the University of Pennsylvania! If your school has a Division C team, join us in February for a large competition pool and tests that mimic the National Tournament. All events will be run and written in conjunction with Penn professors. Additionally, competitors will have the opportunity to tour our historic campus, interact with professors and experts from various STEM fields, and learn about undergraduate research here at Penn.

When is the registration deadline?

The registration deadline is November 30th, assuming that the maximum number of entries is not exceeded before then. Keep in mind that registration is based on a first-come, first-serve basis. The maximum amount of teams we can host is 60.

Will the invitational be run as a regional, state or national invitational? What I mean by that is will the tech event specs and study event lists be based on what would be expected for a regional state or national tournament? Thanks.

Where applicable, regional specs will be used.
