Exalted Members are people who have contributed significantly to the wiki, created content for the site, or otherwise proved themselves significantly noteworthy. Over on OBB, we had tried to run a medal system with custom medals for each event, but the graphics workload is such that we ended up only awarding a few...so when we switched to here we moved to a generic medal and made it so those users were awarded stars independently of their post count or join date.
In tehkubix's case, he ran the forum conversion stuff to help us move some of the content.
He also helped out with the forum's template/skinning stuff.
SiegeLord will probably make a more thorough announcement of medals/exaltedness later.
