Churchill Invite is over

Kennedy 1st, 99pts
Churchill Purple 2nd, 111pts
(Churchill Gold next, 163pts)
Kraemer 3rd, 165pts
Hopkins 4th, 176pts
Horner 5th, 194pts

Kennedy also got a 28th out of 28 on Bottle Rockets, so their 1st could have been bigger. Churchill had three events where their Gold team outdid Purple by a fair amount which would have narrowed or surpassed that gap. Competitive at the top. We'll see what happens in January. Kraemer early favorites for SoCal?

My State Tournament predictions: 1) Churchill 2) Kennedy

Things seem to be much the same as usual in NorCal, with Kennedy leading early and Churchill further behind. Daniel Wright has probably dropped a bit from last year (or maybe not, iirc Tower Heights beat them at New Albany last year).

Wow, Mountain View is getting really good. Any idea how close it was? (medal counts?)

Edit: Now that I take a look at it, Mountain View looks like they may have a good shot at nationals. They appear to have graduated three seniors last year, and in 2014 their first good team included eight freshmen (who would all be seniors now).
