Which is a characteristic of a retrovirus?
Retroviruses have RNA as their genomic code, and use an enzyme called reverse transcriptase (not found in eukaryotes) to convert this RNA into DNA inside the host cell.

1. Thick, multilayered peptidoglycan layer in gram-positive vs. thin, single-layered in gram-negative. 2. Gram-positive has numerous teichoic acids, while gram-negative does not. 3. Gram-positive has a low LPS content, while gram-negative has a high one.
