Hi SciOly community - as the calendar flips to September and teams start to fire up the engines for a new year, I had a thought that may be useful for the wiki. What if there was a page with a large table, and each event could have specific materials and resources that are recommended by the community, with links to purchase them? People can post links to their favorite suppliers of balsa wood or robot parts, or review books, or chem supplies ... etc. This information is all over the place in piecemeal fashion; consolidating it may be helpful for teams trying to work with a budget, and it can also be a scavenger hunt of sorts - see how many things you can find free around school or town! There are so many different odds and ends that work for different teams; this could be an enormous list if a lot of people contributed.

Of course, on the other hand, the absence of commercialism is pleasant here at scioly.org and linking consumers directly to products could be a slippery slope ... Just a thought!
