First Electric Detention story is out!

If management considers this gross commercialism they can delete it with no hard feelings from me, but after twenty+ years here, 3000+ Mission machines run dating back to when the AMish had an unfair technology advantage, and the fact that I make absolutely no money beyond the $15.00 I was paid for the story, I should be able to post this announcement.

Grand Writers: Prose and Poetry of the Grand Rapids Writer's Exchange is out; my submission is just one short story in a fairly large book, but I've found most of the rest to be highly varied, pretty good, and they do what they're supposed to do (scare, humor, inspire, etc) quite well. The CreateSpace site has the cheapest print version just in case you, I don't know, maybe you want my autograph? Dunno why.

My submission, The Great Moon Pizzza Hoax is actually the last chapter of an 8-story book, The Misadventures of the Electric detention, which is currently in final editing. It's based on a kiddy story & picture book I haven't started. Yeah, like writing's not hard enough as it is.

It involves half-a-dozen kids who are smart enough to do pretty much anything thay can think up, except stay out of trouble. And ladies, I listened to all you who complained that "girls in stories never have any fun because they're expected to be the responsible ones" and the two girls (yes, two -- no "Smurfette Rule" complaints here) get into just as much trouble as the four boys, probably even more. They're Navy Brats and total hellions, actually.
