Scioly.org

This is something that I've been curious about for a while actually. I'm part of the Jboard.tv community and was on the Jeopardy! game show for the 2014 Teen Tournament (and won), and since I've been very familiar with both communities, I've been wondering recently whether any sciolyers have been on Jeopardy! I figure this can't be many people (considering many people on scioly.org are mainly middle schoolers, high schoolers, or college students), but I figure there's got to be at least one out there. Thanks!

For what it's worth, I've been to the audition for the Teen Tournament before, but I wasn't selected for the show. I've also been somewhat involved in quizbowl this year.

Yeah, I think most of the people I know on the forums did some qb or qb variant in HS. I do think there's at least some that watch Jeopardy and all (Z?).

I've been on my school's Academic Bowl team (same thing as qb; both use NAQT questions) for a while, but not Jeopardy. Don't know anyone else who does, though. I guess it depends.

Am I the only one that dislikes Academic/Quiz Bowl?

Quiz bowl too, but we didn't make it past regs. :/ It was our first year.

I used to watch more regularly. I will say, having Celebrity Jeopardy during finals week was a great decision and made for an amazing study break every day.

I plan on auditioning for Jeopardy once I'm out in the real world. I've considered trying out for the teen/college tournaments, but I'd rather risk the tougher questions to make bank.

Not me, but there's a guy on our SciOly team that was on Kid Jeopardy. He won too. It's pretty cool to think about.
