How do you react to bullying for being a nerd?

In my school, Science Olympiad people are often touted as celebrities (lol) because we are a primarily academic high school. I don't think any bullying really occurs, as I've never seen any. And I've been here for four years

I actually don't have to worry about it that much. I sort of have an unspoken agreement with the non-nerds at my school: they ignore me, I ignore them, everything's fine. I usually surround myself with other nerds anyway.

For the most part that is how my school is, but there still exists the uncommon loser whose parents teach him or her to peak in high school like they did in the 80s. And naturally, those incompetents pick on the SciOly people.

People generally don't. But when the rare idiotic bully appears, I just smile and thank them for pointing out how superior I am to them.
