Good efficiency?
Good efficiency?
What is a relatively good efficiency for the Bridge Building event? I don't want to say mine right now so people actually answer objectively. Thank you and Happy Holidays!

Re: Good efficiency?
It depends, anywhere upwards of a score of 1000 can probably medal in a not-so-competitive state.
Edit: At a Regional tournament in said states.

Re: Good efficiency?
Based on scores that have been posted, I think that it will take at least 1500 for C and close to 20000 for B to medal at most states.

Re: Good efficiency?
Usually efficiency is a percentage of output per input so I record it as a percentage (grams holding capacity per gram of bridge mass).1399 wrote:umm... just a question, what is the unit for efficiency? just trying to cure my curiosity! thanks!

Re: Good efficiency?
In this case, I guess it could be "x"... because the number generated would that many "times" the weight of the bridge...

Re: Good efficiency?
I guess it really depends on the region and the state... I would say at least 1000 is a bridge worthy of a medal in my region...
