So the rules manual states that the test supports are 3.0 cm x 3.0 cm x 15.0 cm. And the standard for dimensions is l x w x h. If the manual is following this, that would mean the test supports are 15 cm high and only 3 cm x 3 cm. Do you guys think it's that high, or it's 15 cm long, 3 cm high, and 3 cm deep?

Think about it for a minute. How could you set a 5 cm bridge on a 3 cm square block?

Rule 5.e says "Test Supports must sit on one of the 15 cm long faces" Where exactly are these "15 cm long faces" on the Test Base ? I don't see anywhere that has a 15 cm dimension after laying out the CenterLine and the 35 cm Bearing Zone lines.>

4.b.i-test supports 3 x 3 x 15
Location of test supports is in 4.a.iv IE: 17.5 or 11.5 cm from the center line.

Sorry.

I did realize later what was meant, but too late to cancel my post.
Maybe what happens when reading the rules too closely.

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure the test supports are the sicks used to stabilize the bucket.

Yeah those are the bucket stabilization sticks, test supports are specific to non elevated bridges I believe.

I don't know if you have received the rules, but the bridge sits on top of test supports. There are also bucket stabilization sticks. Test support =/= bucket stabilization sticks.
