We need bottle rocket launcher suggestions...Pitsco no longer sells the Aquaport Water Rocket Launcher and the new and "improved" Aquaport II can not be used with an air compressor. We are looking at the NERDS launcher, but wonder if any one has any good ideas...

You might be able to find or build an adapter to allow it to be used as such. You might also find the original used? (I'm not sure the market for bottle rocket launchers is too big..). You also might be able to build your own or use parts from a new one and adapt it to a different launcher.

That's a pretty cool release system. It looks like a nice kit to keep at the back of a classroom or something, that'll be helpful for kids wanting to launch something easily. I remember I had to lug a huge metal/wood launcher from the upstairs classroom to the field next to the school. That was pretty scary.

No, not that I'm aware of.

I have tested my rockets and my team member and I have attached a ping pong ball and it flew 10 seconds, but when we detached it, it flew 12 seconds. I believe that none of the other variables has changed. Can anyone tell me any designs or why that was happening?

Where did you attach the ping pong ball? And how did you attach it?
