Post by SuperAwesomeAirplane »

What is on your dock on your Mac? Or if you don't have a mac (or have Linux or something else . . .) what do you have on your little menu thingy thing???

It seems like it's a popular topic on YouTube, so I thought I could post it here:

I have (in order)

Finder, dashboard, mail, safari, firefox, ichat, address book, iTunes, iPhoto, iMovie, iDVD, garage band, iCal, iWeb, photo booth, quick time, system prefrences, skype, tux paint, stickies, time machine, spaces, google earth, final cut express, jing, iShowU, moviestorm, word, excel, powerpoint, and entourage.

What's on your dock?

Finder, Dashboard, Mail, Safari, iChat, Address Book, iCal, Preview, iTunes, iPhoto, iMovie, GarageBand, Spaces, Time Machine, System Preferences, Skype, AIM, Aol Instant Messenger SM (Don't ask, it's a longish story why I have 2), Adobe Reader, FormulatePro, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Entourage, Messenger, Project Gallery, Documents, Downloads, Trash

As you can see, I haven't gotten around to weeding out what I don't use. Oh well.

Ah yes, sounds exactly like the quicklaunch toolbar in the Windows taskbar (same function).

I have Outlook, Word, OneNote, and Firefox right on the taskbar because they're the applications I use the most. I also have Excel, PowerPoint, and VLC if I click the little arrow next to it (they'd be on the taskbar if I extended the quicklaunch width, but seeing as how I have to launch those applications less frequently, I choose to keep them hidden).
