I noticed a few days ago that the number of posts that people have is not matching up with the amount of posts that they actually have. For example most of the time for people with this problem, it says 0 posts when you can see at least one post.
Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

It's for the "useful" posts you make... Including the event sections and state sections.

Posts made in the General Chat don't count, does that explain it?

Do question marathons count as useful posts?

AstroRockShock has zero. And all of his posts (I think?) were in the question marathon forum

If the staff decides it warrants a change. Typically we have more pressing issues to deal with on the site than post counts like imgur

I think it makes sense though. Maybe just the question marathon part can be changed, but it doesn't even really matter.

In my opinion, while question marathons are definitely useful, for the most part they are repetitive, with about the same people asking and answering questions for the majority of the thread. This dynamic is not found in any of the current forums that count toward post counts, and so we are cautious because it might inflate the counts for people who participate primarily in the question marathons.

This is not carved in stone, so if you want to present your case for post counts in the marathons, feel free to do so. This is the current reasoning behind the decision not to.
