I noticed there's a new Regional in Austin (or at least, a reincarnation of an old one). Is anyone here thinking about moving to that one?

A C division regional? I didn't see that one... Just the B division.

So Texas State SciOly conflicts with Science UIL regionals for the 2nd time in 3 years. This is most disappointing and unfortunate; do the state coordinators know about this conflict? Is it intentional?

I'd have your coach email the director and tell them. It's certainly not intentional.

They probably don't know or if they do, it's most likely that they're not able to change it. All of you guys are doing so many things and there are only so many weeks between January and April (minus SAT and ACT dates, etc. etc.).

It just says "TBA University of Texas at Austin Regional". It doesn't say if it's B or C yet.

That'll be really interesting to see, but seeing as A&M runs the state I don't know if UT could host a contest

I'm part of the Science Olympiad Alumni Association at UT and I just wanted to let you guys know that we will be hosting a tournament at the end of March. We’re running all events for both B and C division and you totally come!

Is the UT tournament going to be an Invitational or a Regional? Because it's listed on the state website as a regional...
