Location: Greece Arcadia High School Rochester, NY
Date: April 4 & 5, 2014

Trial/ Pilot events:
Green Generation: "Students will answer questions involving the history and consequences of human impact on our environment, solutions to reversing trends and sustainability concepts."

Invasives: "This event will test student knowledge of invasive species in local and national ecosystems."

Location: Kellenberg Memorial High School Uniondale, NY
Date: March 14 & 15, 2014

Trial/ Pilot events:
Chemistry of Food: "Students will answer questions of the chemistry of food and build a simple calorimeter to determine the energy content of a solid foodstuff."

Invasives: "This event will test student knowledge of invasive species in local and national ecosystems."

Except I have no idea when/where states will be held. They haven't released that information yet

Generally, we wait until after rollover to make these threads...

...because this forum (the 2013 version) will disappear then, and be replaced with a 2014 version...

...and that includes these threads...

But if you don't mind them disappearing in a couple weeks, go right ahead and make threads to discuss the new season. Or do it on the 2013 thread without making a new one. That's what usually happens. But do whatever.

I really want to try Invasives. My brother placed statewide in Triple E last season, and I helped him a lot with studying. It sounds fun.

States at Kellenberg Memorial is going to be a blast! I'm looking forward to see what Mr. K. Karchinski and Brother Nigel Pratt, SM have in store for the State Championships!
