Perfection. That’s what it’s about. It’s those moments. When you can feel the perfection of creation. The beauty of physics, you know, the wonder of mathematics. The elation of action and reaction, and that is the kind of perfection that I want to be connected to.

Re: Oklahoma 2013
Do you know whether Oklahoma intends to send a Division C team to nationals this year? Last year, Oklahoma sent a Division B team to nationals, but declined the Division C spot (opening up an extra spot for Washington state).

Re: Oklahoma 2013
I actually asked the state director in October and he says
And during the tournaments it seems that Putnam City's 2 teams seem to be the only C teams competing. If they win State, it will be unlikely that they will go.Too costly to travel, The actual tournament cost is not an issue, it's the cost of getting a
team transported to the tournament location plus food and lodging for the
duration of the event. The host University normally provides housing for
a nominal cost, but it can still cost $1000 per team member. Last year's
national tournament was in Orlando. Casady school in Oklahoma City is a
private school and most students are from affluent families. They were
able to attend. Seventy percent of students at Putnam City High School
live below the federal poverty designation. They were not able to attend.
