What is the timing for the Wright State Invitational? Were trying to figure out a time to use.

Most invitationals I've been to refer to the regional guidelines for simplicity and ease of scoring.

it should be 60 sec then? Do you have an individual timing task or is it like part of one of your tasks?

60 seconds ideal time for the whole operation time.

'Regional' rules / timing will be used for all events I believe. The only exception is some events that have State / National topics might include them on tests.

They could have used any time but seeing as how I wasn't there I wouldn't know. But now on to the real regionals...

do most of you guys even have a timing device for future competitions? the final task is pretty lengthy

our final task was driven by an electric motor, and we were able to change the timing by varying resistance. one of the coolest parts of the project was building a wire wound resistor to do that.

No other electrical device is allowed per rule. Is home-made resistor allowed?
