The crowd quieted down, they were ready to hear the most riveting opening ceremony speech of their lives. The lights dimmed. A shadowy figure stepped out on stage, a hush fell over the crowd. The lights kept dimming. Soon, the voices of people in the back of the auditorium were heard, scrambling, checking every breaker, computer, controller, and light in the building. Blackout. A short yell was heard from the stage and suddenly all was made plain as day. Literally. But as the lights came up, the expectant competitors saw nothing on the stage, save a note, which was read aloud.
"Good evening members of Sciolyville,
As you can see, I have infiltrated your precious competition, and plan to use it for my own gain. But first I must rid myself of those annoying kids that still think they're here to win 'medals' and such. However I shall not be entirely cruel about it. I shall make a game of it, here are my rules:
1. Anyone who posts in the next 24 hours will represent their team in my game.
3. People will be die, however, the assassinator will not kill administrators. In return, the assassinator request that administrators not reveal my identity.
4. The assassinator will provide clues that point to my next victim, and occasionally to himself.
4.5. There will be only 5 protects per clue, it doesn't matter who they come from.
5. The assassinator will write entertaining and mildly gruesome accounts of his kills.
6. Once killed, a team officer may not make any statements regarding the game.
7. After three wrong accusations, an officer may no longer accuse or protect.
8. The assassinator reserve the right to modify these rules as necessary.
9. The assassinator win after 15 incorrect accusations, the number goes down with every kill.
10. You have the right to die.
From this point on any team connection members have in the 'real world' is gone. Good luck. You will all need it."
