1. Find lots of science textbooks
2. Find basic info
3. Memorize basic science knowledge

As far as physical challenges- :?:

well my teammates and i have been "practing" like jumprope, volleyball, dribbling basketballs. one of the examples in the rules is carrying an egg on a spoon in your mouth over the given distance. so im pretty sure the athletic thing is nothing to worry about...... we've been trying to concentrate on the studies!

I think you should focus on the science and then work on the physical part because they could ask you a question on a topic you learned a while ago and don't remember it as well.

i would focus on the science part, because as long as you are in good physical condition the other part should be just fine.

It was a trial event at both my regionals and states last year and the physical part is nothing to worry about. At regionals it was jump rope 5 times or toss a ball back to the person a few times. At states the events were bad because for one you had to ride on the back of one of those sticks with a little horse head on the front that 4 year olds use.
My SHMS Team Results:
2007
Regionals- 3rd
States- 5th

2008
Regionals- 3rd
States- 5th

2009
Regionals- 2nd
States- 4th

2010
Regionals- 1st
States- 2nd
Nationals- 19th

I don't know the times, I was only watching the event for about 20 minutes, I wasn't even competing in it. I don't think any times we're over 8 minutes though. They probablly were lower than that.
