So this may be a stupid question, but after looking at my post count and some others it seems as if some have lost total numbers of helpful posts.

That's because we're missing the 2012 Regionals State etc. Discussion forum. It's either been deleted or turned invisible with the board turnover. I'm assuming the latter, personally.

It's kinda just because all the 2012 competition forums are gone. Apparently there were a few issues with the admins pressing buttons when they rolled the board over, so they accidentally deleted the competition forums. -_-

(Then there was mrsteven, tufted, and me... collectively we lost 600 or so... I'm half expecting the competition boards to come back up again, completely intact save Illinois 2012, which mysteriously remains deleted  )

They're not coming back. The buttons are apparently very problematic.

The move and delete buttons are very close to each other, so after moving several different threads to a different forum, it's quite easy to accidentally click delete. And after they're gone, there's no way to get them back.

Chill.

Post counts aren't the end of the world. Too many forum users on any set of fora complain/post/spam to get this number up, and then again, what's the use of it?

The point of us complaining about the lost posts was curiosity. Our irritation was caused by the fact that we lost all record and ideas of the 2012 competition forums. There was some really good stuff there--links and resources, especially.
