-The path of the Administrator is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men.
-Nothing\'s gonna get deleted. We\'re gonna be like three little Fonzies here. And what\'s Fonzie like? Come on, what\'s Fonzie like?
-Cool?
-Correctamundo. And that\'s what we\'re gonna be. We\'re gonna be cool. Now, I\'m gonna count to three, and when I count three, you let go of your mouse, and back away from the keyboard. But when you do it, you do it cool. Ready? One... two... three.

Re: Experimental Design B/C
Pretty much the only difference is the statistics I think. C division does Standard Deviation as well.Orchdork wrote:so what is the main difference between division B and division C in this event?

Re: Experimental Design B/C
Yeah it's really just a little more math, although the event supervisor may choose to make their experiments involve more sophisticated tools.
This event is a big help in learning the Scientific Method, and it's really fun in general. I can't wait to participate this year![Very Happy :D](./images/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif)

We were told to do standard deviation in class and I was like: "psh. I know what's up"

Because Standard Deviation is SUCH a complex operationfozendog wrote:We were told to do standard deviation in class and I was like: "psh. I know what's up"

Same here! we use it in stats and while everyone else was freaking out i knew what was going onfozendog wrote:We were told to do standard deviation in class and I was like: "psh. I know what's up"

Re: Experimental Design B/C
really? that is for Division C only? Last year my coach had us practice that for competition. I'm so excited thoughmnstrviola wrote:Yeah it's really just a little more math, although the event supervisor may choose to make their experiments involve more sophisticated tools.
