I have the Sibley and NWF field guides, and that's what I used last year too. What do you guys reccommend?

The states have their copies to distribute to teams that register, but there was a printing error with the rest of them, so the copies ordered online are just now shipping.

I recommend the Audubon books, since they are the ones that are officially used to make the rules. They also have several photos of each stage in the year of deciduous trees (including the flowers and buds, fruit, and fall leaf color changes), along with fruit/cones for most trees.

Are we doing another ID forum? I'm happy to start one if people are interested.

Edit: I can't start topics, so someone else will have to start the ID forum.
