Scioly Assassination 86: The Labyrinth City

[Assassinator]

The clock strikes midnight. I walk through the quiant town of Sciolyville and watch as my maze erupt from the ground creating a labyrinth for the denizens of Sciolyville. The next morning—or should I say later this morning?—when then wake up they will find themselves in a desolate maze. Their task is to find they’re way out before they die… at my hands. Smiling I walk away, my task done for the night. They will all die and I will be the king of Sciolyville, the Labyrinth City. As I leave I drop a piece of paper on the ground with words written in blood:

Hello, all you citizens of Sciolyville. Do you like my new adition to your city? You will all die, one by one. However, there is one bit of hope. Five of you will become officers with the power to save people. The five people will be the next five who send in correct answer to the clue.
There are rules. They are as follows.


1. The officers will be the next five people who send in correct answers to the clue.

2. Non-officers may post.

3. People will die. There are no exceptions.

4. Officers may die, but an officer may protect another officer. Protections are required to use the following template, "I protect <FULL username> because..." Reasons are not required to be reasonable. You are allowed to BS your protections.

5. Once an officer has made three incorrect accusations, he or she may not accuse or protect anyone.

6. The Assassinator will provide clues that plainly point to my next victim, and occasionally to himself.

7. The Assassinator may continue to post with his true account, and may provide hints there.

8. When accusing someone of being assassinator, the accusing officer MUST use the following template, "I accuse <FULL username> because..." If an officer fails to use this template when accusing, the accusation will be ignored.

9. Once "killed", a user may not make any statements concerning the identity of the Assassinator.

10. The Assassinator will kill after forty-eight hours or after all protections have been made, whichever comes first.

11. If the Assassinator does not reply in 7 days after all protects are made, each officer receives a free accusation. It can be saved to be used later.

12. Officers earn accusations as they protect correctly. Accusations are transferrable.

13. The Assassinator wins after 15 incorrect accusations have been made, but the number required goes down by one with each kill.

14. The dead may only post comments non-relevent to the game, but NO SPAMMING will be tolerated.

15. Officers must make a protect at least once every two unsolved clues. Officers failing this requirement will be replaced.

16. The Assassinator reserves the right to add to these rules as he deems necessary.

As the light of the new day starts rising over the horizon, I drop of notes at the doors of the 5 officers. The first one is written on green paper stamped with frogs.

Good morning, Frogger4907. I hope that you are up for the challenge of your life. You have been selected as one of the five officers to atempt to protect Sciolyville, now the Labyrinth City. At 7 am, go to the town center of your little village. If you are not there, you will bare the weight of your punishment. Good luck.

The next note is dropped of at a house made of numbers.

Hello, twototwenty. You are now an officer with the privilige death sentence of gaurding Sciolyville, the Labyrinth City. At 7 am, do go to the town center to meet your fate... if you do not show up, there will be consequnces. Good luck.

The third note is left at the end of a street called Physics Avenue.

Good day, foreverphysics. You have been chosen to protect the city of Sciolyville, the Labyrinth City. Please go to the town center at 7 am promptly... or you will suffer the consequences. Good luck...

The fourth note is pinned to door of a keyboard manufacturing business.

Hey, 5asdffdsa5. Your now an officer with the task of proctecting Sciolyville. When the clock strikes seven, be at the town center or else you will regret your life. Good luck.

The fifth note is taped to the entrance of a mine.

Bonjour, haverstall. You are an officer now... and you have been given the gift of protecting Sciolyville. Be at the town center at 7 precisely, else I will noot be responsible for what will happen. Good luck.

At seven am, the five officers gather at the town center after a long time of trying to figure out how to get through the maze. Luckily it seems that the maze is on their side and opened a path to the town center for them. They're confusion is obvious. Soon they break out into a argument. And then a scroll drops from seemingly nowhere onto the head of haverstall. Rubbing his head, haverstall picks up the scroll and unrolls it. It reads:

Hello officers, this is your first clue. The first victim is in my grasp, and he will die unless you solve this.

You have 48 hours. The clue will expire at 7 am Pacific Standard Time.

The message is in base 64. converted to ascii, it reveals watch?v=fLexgOxsZu0, which links to "the lazy song" by Bruno Mars, on youtube. Not sure where to take it further though.

I protect winneratlife for the reason stated in PacificGoldenPlover's post.
Did anyone else notice that there were the words "death sentence" written in size one font in twototwenty's note?
I've never heard that song (and I can't get on youtube right now either).
Anyone else have any ideas?

Perhaps 5asdffdsa5, because he din't do much last game (No offense intended ). I also cannot get on youtube for a while, so I don't know if it might be based on the actual content of the video...

The video also involves the dance team, the Poreotics, who are Asian, dancing with him in monkey suits. It's awesome, even though the music sucks.

I am going to take a leap here and protect myself because of the death sentence part of my note, as there was nothing like that in any of the other officers' notes.
The only way I can think of that it might relate to the video would be is the sassy was calling himself lazy, with what have otherwise been an easy clue.

Oh, I absolutely love Bruno Mars. The Lazy Song was one of, and still of my all time favorites. But nobody knows, so can't be me.

If you just google the number, you find that it is the maximum high score on pacman, and from there, the rest of the clues just fall into place.
