Can we do that thing like last year where we predicted placings for all of the events?
I'm not even so sure that Solon might take the B Division. I know, shocking. I think it might actually be Muscatel Middle School, considering their amazing showing at the SoCal State competition. They placed in every single event, literally, ending up with an astounding 52 points. The second place school didn't even come close; they were 80 points behind, and they are a good school as well.Gearbox wrote:Solon's going to take first in B and C again this year
Beckendorff JH in Texas did the same...although we ended up with 50 points. Maybe that's just because Texas isn't as competitive though.Mr Sarcastic wrote:I'm not even so sure that Solon might take the B Division. I know, shocking. Yes, but the top 4 or 5 teams in SoCal are national-worthy, except for the fact that Muscatel wins every year.hpfananu wrote:Beckendorff JH in Texas did the same...although we ended up with 50 points. You can't always draw that correlation though...at Muscatel Invitational, they had to fight an actual national competitor, Winston Churchill MS from NorCal. Even with hometeam advantage and all, Muscatel only won by about 20 points, 60-80.Mr Sarcastic wrote:Yes, but the top 4 or 5 teams in SoCal are national-worthy(like top half), except for the fact that Muscatel wins every year.
Define "national-worthy". Does that mean top 10?Mr Sarcastic wrote:Yes, but the top 4 or 5 teams in SoCal are national-worthy(like top half), except for the fact that Muscatel wins every year.
