Has anybody found success with rubber sizes besides 3/32 and 1/8?

well, I've heard that 5/32 works well when you need more power than a 3/32, but less than a 3/16

Yep, especially depending on how much torque is needed for your rotors. Last year for states, ours worked best with 5/32; too much torque with 3/16 but not enough with a 1/8.

Silicone-based lube is what is best for use on rubber right?
I know for sure that WD-40 doesn't work, but I'm not sure as to what is the exact type.

Use Armor all and put it in a cup and let it evaporate, so that all is left is mostly Si. making it more efficient.

I can't believe there is no longer a maximum mass for motors! Has there ever not been a limit on rubber for any powered flight event (Wright Stuff)?
