We will not know for sure until official rules comes out. Odds are no, since there wasn't really a specific topic last year.

Ah, I see. Will learning optics from a typical high school textbook be enough? Or do I need more? If so, how much more?

I wouldn't count on having a high school textbook as my only resource. IDK how much optics-related material is in your textbook but it's always best to have multiple resources.
