How do you become a mod? Not that I ever will, but I'm asking anyways.
I bet this has already been answered, though.

People become mods after being very contributive and helpful users, as well as being good leaders for a number of years.
If you ever do want to become one, asking how it is done feels like a precursor to asking to become one (you don't ask to become a mod, they ask you), don't mean to be mean, but it would probably be better not to bring it up. If that is indeed your goal.
