Whether you celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah, or are simply looking forward to a break from school, we at Scioly.org hope you're having a happy period of rest and relaxation.

This year has been one of many milestones—2023 marked the first in-person National Tournament since 2019, with hundreds of students gathering in Wichita to compete. Our Scioly.org community has grown as well, with more than a thousand people joining our Discord over the past year. Whether this is your first season competing or your last, we thank you for helping to make Scioly.org the #1 community for Science Olympiad.

As our community grows, our moderation needs grow as well. When this server launched at the beginning of the 2020 season, we never anticipated that so many students and coaches would turn to us as their main source of information. As a result, we've decided to bring on two new Chat Moderators for our Discord: Venomizer and RZ2004. Our hope is that these new staff members will allow Scioly.org to grow while continuing to be a safe and welcoming place for everyone.

Additionally, if you'd like to help shape the future of our site as we enter 2024, please complete the Scioly.org Site Improvement Survey! The survey will close on December 31st, and any individuals who complete it may be entered in a drawing to win a Scioly.org sticker.
