Clarification on Near target and far target distances
Clarification on Near target and far target distances
According to rule d:
d. The marked centers of the targets must be between 2.00 m and 8.00 m in front of the launch area in intervals of 1.0 m for Regionals, 0.50 m for States, 10.0 cm for Nationals. A distance of at least 2.00 m (measured parallel to the imaginary center line) must separate the marked centers of the targets
Does this mean the far target will not be placed more than 8 meters from the launch area or it can be placed 8 meters away from the center of the near target ( Ex : if the near target is 2m from the launch area, the far target can be 10m from the launch area)

Re: Clarification on Near target and far target distances
Far target will be not more than 8m in front of the launch area.
Far target may be up to 2m to the side of the centerline, so range from front of launch box to far target could be as much as 8.25m
