Scioly Assassination 67: A Partisan Divide

Politics is a vicious, vicious game. If you get in the way of someone in their rise to power... revenge is violent and quick. Consider yourself warned.

SOinc doesn't run itself, the executive board is advised by many people, including someone who shares last names with a president whose administration admitted 3 states to the Union. The last state admitted is the correct answer.
First 5 to PM me it are officers. And remember, the only two certain things in life are death... and taxes.

1. The police officers will be the next five people who send correct answers to the clue. Put in a bit of thought before posting. If you have not been around for awhile, it is less likely that you will be able to identify me.

2. There will be no "informants", but civilians may post.

3. People will die. However, there are some exceptions. I will not kill administrators or moderators. In return, I ask that they not reveal my identity.

4. Police officers may die, but a police officer may protect another police officer.

5. Once a police officer has made three incorrect accusations, he may not accuse or protect anyone.

6. The assassin will provide clues which plainly point to his next victim, and occasionally to himself.

7. The assassin will continue to post with his true account, and may provide hints there.

8. The assassin will write entertaining and mildly gruesome accounts of his kills.

9. When accusing someone of being Assasinator you must use the following template "I accuse (place name here) because (give reason here)." If you don't use this template when accusing the accusation won't count.

10. Once "killed" a user may not make any statements about the identity of the Assasinator.

11. Non officers or informants may post.

12. Each clue will last only one day, after which the Assassinator may kill.

13. If the assassinator does not reply in 8 days after all protects are made, each officer gets a free accusation. However that accusation must be made next time the user posts and cannot be stored as an extra one to use later

14. Each officer begins with one accusation. You will earn accusations as you protect correctly

15. The Assassinator wins after 15 incorrect accusations have been made, but the number needed to win goes down by one with each kill

15. The Assassinator has the right to ban players who have cheated from the game

16. Upon review of the last game, it has been determined that quizbowl is banned from playing this round due to his behavior in game #66

17. The Assassinator reserves the right to add to these rules as he deems necessary.

I accuse Kokonilly because:

a) I got the officer PM almost immediately, when she was on Facebook but not SciOly, which is odd for her.
b) Her last log in time was 10:03 am, the thread was posted at 9:21, and she did not join; I sent in my answer at 10:30ish and got in before her, therefore, she saw the game and made no attempt to join.
