gap measurement

are gaps measured horizontally? or based off the ending platform or the sone that catches it? I drew a quick image explaining what im talking about. Is it measured a or b?

Unofficial, but the way I read the rules, it is the gap between the ends of the track, horizontally. If I understand your drawing correctly, it is the points your B arrow goes to, but horizontal, not angled.
