Userpage MISSING

I just tried to go on to edit my userpage, and it no longer exists. Is that because of me changing my username? Or is it just in the Twilight Zone?

There is no difference in the pages.
The page will get removed when the user is removed which will happen eventually

So wait... my old username is still registered, and my account is now a duplicate, and I'm using its old page?

your old username is still in the wiki due and you are using the user-page connected to the current account it has to do with your name change the wiki database doesn't change when your name changes it just adds a new account

So if that account gets deleted from the wiki, my own username will be the title of the page.
