Re: Wheeled Vehicle B
When building a vehicle does having bigger wheels in the back and smaller wheels in the front have any positive or negative effects compared to having four wheels of the same size? Also, should the front wheels or the back wheels be heavier?

Re: Wheeled Vehicle B
Truthfully, I think neither. You can go on to youtube, and watch the old national competitions for the mouse trap vehicle. You find more advice than you think you would. Most of them tell you exactly what they did wrong, some are very naive about it. Try from there. I'm not too sure about the wheels, the front and back, especially since it's also my first time doing this event. (7th grade, whoo... not)

Re: Wheeled Vehicle B
Is there a specific place where we should start to take notes from because I can't exactly find anywhere.... just small little bits like don't make your vehicle to heavy, and little things like that? Is there a specific place where we can get the materials from, cause I can't find anything good that I think will work!!!!

Hey! I don't really take notes, but you could check out the scioly.org forum archives. Most of what you're referring to(like vehicle weight, or maybe making the car go straight) is gained from experience, and I found that I didn't really need notes. I'd say just start building--you'll learn the most that way. If there's any issues you run into, a quick search on the archives/internet or asking here should solve it. (example: your car isn't going straight: there is a LOT of info on this issue out there. whatever problems you've run into, I guarantee someone else has, too. Look, and you'll find it somewhere)
For materials, honestly just Home Depot works. You can get most of your supplies from there, like wood and axles. Wheels might have to come from online(if you're using robotics wheels or something fancy) but you could always use CDs. I've heard of people using TAN SS(the same material used in Flight, so maybe see if your team has some spares?) for the power source, too. Generally, you should be able to find everything you need at local hardware stores and Amazon.
