Tips for my tower please

I started with bridges last year and now I am working on Division B towers. I am okay, last year for bridges I won 10th out of 44 at regionals ( NY)
Weighs- 29.5g
Weight Supported- 13,800g
Made of - Bass wood
-Medium Viscosity Zap Glue
Measurements - Between each brace 10 cm
- base is 16.5cm x 16.5cm
- top is 4.5 cm x 4.5cm

What I would like to know
- How doI reduce weight? (without completly changing my design)
-How do I increase strenth? (without completly changing my design)

well reducing weight involves removing as many extra suports a possible and using only as much glue as possible

can you tell me some specific spots that may be "over braced"
No offence but I wanted a bit more specific advise

Can you upload your tower to the image gallery? I can't see it right now.
Use less glue. What size pieces are you useing? Try useing balsa to lessen the weight.

I am using about 3/32" x 3/32" but for some areas it is slightly thicker/ thinner
As an example the four central columns are thicker

Most of us use 1/16 for bracing and 1/8 for the legs. I would recomend this

Try looking through the image gallery. Simple pyramidic base and square chimney works best.

Well one way would be to try removing all the _ supports execpt the top and the bottum so instead of
|_|............................|\|
|_|............................|/|
|_| you would have.......|\|

so have just diagonals, no horizontal pieces except for the top & bottom? I dont quite understand your art

yea just diagonals not horizontals and your diagonals would be flush with the one below them
