(USESO) Leadership in Earth and Environmental Sciences Program

Hey everyone!
For all students who are a rising 8-12 graders interested in environmental and earth science and leadership, I wanted to share the LEES (Leadership in Earth and Environmental Sciences). Run by the United States Earth Science Organization, students will be part of a community mentored by leaders in earth science, including the International Earth Science Olympiad team, explore environmental justice case studies, and perform research and analysis on environmental problems and remediation. It's a week long adventure into the depths of real-world applications of earth science with professional speakers and exciting talks.
The application is due June 1, and earth scientists from a historically underrepresented background are encouraged. More information can be found here: https://www.useso.org/summer-programs/lees/
