Stupid question but can clay or putty be used for weight redistribution?

Sorry but I’m coming to this very late and had seen a post by Coach Chuck saying to add some clay to help with the center of gravity but then on the rules it doesn’t list clay or putty as equipment that can be used. Any guidance you’re able to provide would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Rule 3b says that you may use anything except Boron filaments.

I agree, anything is allowed except Boron.
This is not official, as only the rules and FAQ's are official. But I think this one is pretty clear.
Clay is a very common ballast. We like Locktite Fun Tak, as it seems to stay on a little better than modelling clay.
