The article seems to imply so, but I would treat it as "unconfirmed".

Just read the article - it mentions in the FIRST LINE that teams will be traveling from CANADA to the tournament. As far as I know, there's never been a Canadian exhibition team.... until now?

I think there has been back in the late '90s idk. I believe they have sent a team to WA states or some state but not sure on that either

It seems that the links to the 2007 tournament results are no longer available: https://www.soinc.org/2007-tournament-results. Perhaps this was an oversight that occurred when doing updates for the 2023 tournament?

In fact, Canada actually sent a representative several times in the 90's. Official, not exhibition! I think we should bring this back. I think it would be really beneficial to try to get SO going strong in Canada. That's several million kids who never got the chance to participate.
