Caltech and Southern California Science Olympiad are excited to partner with the National Science Olympiad Office to host this year's National Invitational. The National Invitational is the nation's premier Science Olympiad Invitational Tournament run by the top Event Supervisors in the country, many of whom have been past National Event Supervisors.

This tournament will allow teams from all over the country to experience the National Tournament experience as they may find the approaches and formats similar to the National Tournament. To mirror the format of this year's National Tournament, the National Invitational will be run using the Satellite model where teams compete at their own schools under the supervision of their coaches.

Registration is open to all Division B and Division C teams, and the fee for each team is $120. Please visit the tournament's Scilympiad page for full details.

Vote for each school only once (do not include 2nd teams from a school)
5 points for predicting a school correctly, 3 points for 1 off, 2 points for 2 off, 1 point for 3 off, and none for more.

Does anyone know when the results will be posted for the National Invitational?

Awards ceremony is supposed to be at 7 PM Eastern on Saturday the 15th.

Publicly released tests, keys, and distributions

Just Curious... Has ANYONE received the tests, answer keys or awards from this Invitational? Thanks

The tests and answer keys were released back to the teams on Scilympiad but they're currently archived after 2 weeks to free up space for active tournaments. All of the tests and keys are posted publicly and the link is available on https://scilympiad.com/soni2022 Unfortunately the medals have not been shipped but an email will be emailed to head coaches as soon as we have an ETA for arrival dates.

Have the medals been mailed out for this Invitational? We haven't seen them.

Medals were shipped the week of June 6th. We received ours.
